Commonwealth Partnership Summit & Business Excellence Awards 2025

29th August, Concorde Hotel, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

The third edition of the Commonwealth Partnership Summit & Business Excellence Awards 2025 was successfully held on 29 August 2025 at the Concorde Hotel Kuala Lumpur, bringing together business leaders, entrepreneurs, professionals, diplomats, and international delegates from across the Commonwealth region.

The event recognized more than 60 award recipients representing multiple countries, including the United Kingdom, Sri Lanka, South Africa, Kenya, Malaysia, Singapore, Bangladesh, Pakistan, the Maldives, Canada, and India, in recognition of contributions to business excellence, entrepreneurship, innovation, and professional leadership.

The event was held under the patronage of Mohamed Rizvi, Acting High Commissioner of Sri Lanka to Malaysia, with the participation of diplomatic representatives and international stakeholders from several Commonwealth missions and organizations based in Malaysia.

Distinguished diplomatic representatives attending the event included Julius Bargorret, Abbas Adil Riza, Peter Kano, representatives of the Maldivian High Commission in Malaysia, and officials representing diplomatic and trade missions from Commonwealth countries.

The summit and awards program served as an international platform for business networking, professional engagement, cross-border collaboration, and recognition of excellence across diverse sectors. The successful hosting of the 2025 edition in Kuala Lumpur further strengthened the platform’s international outreach and ongoing commitment to promoting business leadership and cooperation among Commonwealth nations.

Commonwealth Partnership Summit & Business Excellence Awards 2024

17th August 2024, Emperors Palace, Johannesburg, South Africa

The second edition of the Commonwealth Partnership Summit & Business Excellence Awards 2024 was successfully held on 17 August 2024 at the Emperors Palace, bringing together business leaders, entrepreneurs, policymakers, diplomats, civil society representatives, and international delegates from across the Commonwealth region. The summit and awards program attracted more than 250 participants, with the broader engagement hosted approximately 100 business, civil society, and political leaders who participated in discussions focused on international cooperation, strategic partnerships, entrepreneurship, innovation, and sustainable economic growth within Commonwealth countries.

The Commonwealth Business Excellence Awards 2024 recognized outstanding organizations and professionals for contributions across multiple sectors, including information and communication technology (ICT), environmental sustainability, business innovation, leadership, and design. Participating companies and organizations from several Commonwealth nations were recognized for excellence and professional achievement in their respective industries. The gala ceremony was attended by Mandla Mandela, Member of the South African Parliament, traditional chief of the Mvezo Traditional Council, and the high-profile nephew of South Africa’s late President Nelson Mandela. He attended the gala ceremony as a special guest alongside his wife, Nodiyala Mandela.

The event also welcomed the participation of High Commissioners, Ambassadors, diplomatic representatives, and senior trade officials representing several Commonwealth countries, including India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nigeria, Kenya, and Mauritius, further strengthening international engagement and cross-border collaboration among participating nations. The successful hosting of the 2024 edition in Johannesburg reinforced the platform’s commitment to promoting business excellence, professional networking, international dialogue, and strategic partnerships across the Commonwealth region.

Commonwealth Partnership Summit & Business Excellence Awards 2023

27 July 2023, Millennium Hotel Singapore

Following the successful completion of seven editions of the South Asian Partnership Summit & Business Excellence Awards, the inaugural edition of the Commonwealth Partnership Summit & Business Excellence Awards 2023 was successfully launched on 27 July 2023 at the Millennium Hotel Singapore.

Held in conjunction with the Commonwealth Partnership Summit, the event brought together business leaders, entrepreneurs, diplomats, professionals, and international delegates from across the Commonwealth region, with participation from countries including the United Kingdom, Sri Lanka, South Africa, Bangladesh, India, the Maldives, Kenya, and Pakistan. The summit and awards program served as an international platform for promoting business excellence, professional networking, entrepreneurship, leadership development, and cross-border collaboration among Commonwealth nations.

The event was held under the patronage of Chief Guest Malefetsane Charlotte Lobe, South African High Commissioner to Singapore. The ceremony also welcomed the participation of diplomatic representatives and dignitaries attached to the High Commissions of Pakistan, the Maldives, and Sri Lanka in Singapore, reflecting the event’s growing international engagement and diplomatic presence. Approximately 250 delegates participated in the inaugural edition, contributing to discussions and engagements focused on international cooperation, business partnerships, innovation, and sustainable economic development within the Commonwealth region.

The successful hosting of the Singapore edition established the foundation for the continued growth of the Commonwealth Partnership Summit & Business Excellence Awards as an international platform dedicated to fostering professional excellence, strategic partnerships, and international business collaboration across Commonwealth nations.
